What is a Family Solution Finder?
We are an online learning center that equips families with practical, science-based resources for navigating addiction, chronic mental illness, social media grooming, Alzheimer’s, and family spirituality. Our materials include self-guided courses, topic-specific workbooks, and on-demand lessons with practical exercises. We focus on teaching what families will actually experience over their journey, not clinical jargon.

Family members, caregivers, and support people dealing with a loved one’s substance use disorder, chronic mental health conditions, social media grooming concerns, or Alzheimer’s. If you want practical, structured learning to reduce confusion and improve decision-making, this is for you.
How do I get started?
Three simple steps:
1) Choose a course or workbook that matches your needs.
2) Download the two Word documents (pre/post test and handout) and the PowerPoint; print the documents if possible.
3) View the presentation while following the handouts; complete the workbook or practical exercises for deeper learning.

What is the Family Recovery Course?
A self-administered course package that includes a pre- and post-test, a course handout (Word doc), and a PowerPoint presentation. Print the handout and test, follow the PowerPoint, and complete the included workbook activities to extend your learning.
What are Specialty Subject Workbooks?
A library of single-topic workbooks focused on specific areas of mental health and wellness. Choose the topic that fits your situation, download the workbook, and complete it at your own pace. Workbooks are designed to be practical, therapist-informed study tools.
What are the On-Demand Mental Health Issues?
A collection of 71 distinct topics, each paired with 17 practical exercises. Pick a topic you want to learn more about, download the exercise pack, and complete the exercises to apply the learning immediately in your family context.
How should I use the materials for best results?
Practical tips:
- Print the Word handouts and have them while you watch the PowerPoint.
- Take the pre-test honestly to identify gaps; use the post-test to measure progress.
- Complete workbook exercises and keep notes — learning sticks when applied.
- If things feel overwhelming or clinical decisions are needed, pause and consult a licensed professional.

What does your coaching service include and how much does it cost?
Our online coaching (via Zoom) is a practical session to create a learning plan tailored to your family. For $55 you receive:
1) A Learning GAPS Assessment to identify what you need most,
2) A review of options (courses, workbooks, topics),
3) A custom Learning Plan aligned with your goals,
4) Enrollment in the Solution Finder Certificate Course and access to extended services (newsletters, blog updates, invites to live Zoom sessions).
What is the Solution Finder Certificate Course?
A structured curriculum assembled from our core courses and workbooks. Certificate enrollment provides a guided sequence, completion tracking, and a certificate of learning. It’s for families who want a complete, organized learning pathway rather than standalone lessons.
Safety, Professional Guidance & Policies
Are these materials a substitute for professional care?
No. Our resources are educational and therapist-level in source, but they are not a replacement for licensed clinical care. We strongly encourage you to work with a licensed professional for diagnosis, treatment, and safety planning while using our materials.
What is your refund / cancellation policy for coaching?
Coaching is prepaid. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours before your session. For cancellations more than 48 hours in advance, we offer a full refund; within 48 hours, a credit toward a future session may be issued. (Finalize exact terms on your booking page.)
